Q: How much time does The Barefoot Baker need to process an order?
A: The Barefoot Baker needs at least 48 hours for breakfast platters and cupcakes because of the care in creating them. These times do not take into account weekends or public holidays. If you have a larger order than specified please allow us a little more time to provide you with your wishes.
Q: Do you accept large orders, such as for client gifts?
A: The Barefoot Baker welcomes large orders but needs to be contacted to arrange them. And, of course, we appreciate a little lead time, especially if it's during the holidays. We'd be happy to personalize your packages by including your business card or a note from you. Use our Contact form if you'd like more information.
Q: I really like the quotes that come up on your opening page but can't keep clicking Refresh. Can you send me a list of them?
A: Yes, just go to this request form and we'll email them to you within 5 minutes.
Q: Are you licensed?
A: Yes, the kitchen is licensed and health board certified. We are not a home business but a working business in a professional kitchen.
Q: Do you deliver?
A: The Barefoot Baker will deliver within the City of Hamilton. Please contact us for delivery in other parts of the Island. However we will set your cupcakes up for a wedding or special event. The price will be included in the quote.
Q: Does the Barefoot Baker cater to food allergies or dietary issues?
A: The bakery is a wheat, peanut and dairy facility. The Barefoot Baker can make vegan and wheat free items but if you are extremely sensitive to the products in our kitchen I would suggest looking at another facility.
Q: Does The Barefoot Baker provide small party catering?
A: Yes, we can provide you with food for small parties (max 30). We serve innovative world cuisine to traditional French food. Whatever your palette desires we can accommodate your every culinary whim. Unfortunately we do not provide plates, silverware, glasses or linen.
Q: My question is not answered here, what should I do?
A: You can normally find me between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
Q: Can I buy your cookies without pre-ordering them??
A: Yes, of course. I am usually at the Farmers Market in Bulls Head on Saturday mornings until 12 noon with a big selection. But get there early as they sell quickly! You can also find a selection during the week at Juice and Beans on Front Street (next to A S Cooper's main store).
